So we built uptime.ooo — the platform we wanted on the other end of the pager. Nine check types from multiple regions, quorum-based alerting that doesn't wake you for a flaky hop, and early-warning that flags a service sliding before it fails. Then we built the part the other tools charge enterprise money for: on-call schedules, escalation policies that page real people, incident war rooms with chat and live voice, and auto-tickets — plus branded status pages and a clean REST API, all behind a single self-hostable binary.
Customizability is the whole point. Your checks, your intervals, your alert thresholds and escalation, your branding, your regions, your theme — even pay by card or crypto. We'd rather give you the knobs than decide for you. If a workflow matters to how you run your systems, it should bend to fit — and here, it does.
